Puppy Love

So I got the chance to photograph another one of my beautiful friends and her dog Memphis.  The two of them were very photogenic.  The very windy day decided to calm down just for us and make some nice weather for our shoot.  Leave it to a pretty park, a cheerful dog, and a gorgeous girl to capture some incredible moments!

Under the Sea pictures

After a long week of school, Lloyd and I took some time to visit our local aquarium and here are some of the snaps that I got within the tanks.  The colors were just amazing to capture and sea life always seems to be extremely unique. God certainly is creative!! 

Country New Mexico

So another photo shoot happened in the lovely New Mexico country land.  Laura my dear friend took me to her ranch and we got the lovely chance to shoot on her parents land.  Her sisters horse was also available for some very photogenic shots as well.  I designed her shoot to hold the enchantment of the outdoors of New Mexico and she was a gorgeous model whom I just love snapping pictures of! May your graduation days be filled of happiness and excitement! 

A lovely Spring afternoon

I got the opportunity to do Amy's graduation pictures just a little bit ago.  She was so fun to work with, being one of my good friends and she was a great model full of natural beauty!  Our outing was quite an adventure looking for interesting sites to shoot by and we came across the infamous rainbow fence in Albuquerque which was such a fun splash of color for the day! So good luck to Amy as she reaches her graduation days and heres some pictures of the time we spent together!

Unique Opportunities

So as I slowly get my summer plans in order I have been getting some unique opportunities along the way that have really brightened up my day.  I have been slowly trying to build a photography portfolio so that I can start to set up a business sometime in my life.  My friend Lindsay, is getting married this summer and knew about my photography likes and decided to ask her photographer if I could shadow her on their wedding day.  I am so excited for the opportunity and excited to see behind the scenes of photographing a wedding.

I'm hoping to just enjoy the experience and really soak up some knowledge on the whole industry.  So I'm really excited for that.  So there's a little preview into my summer!

Back to the blog!

So it appears that I have not written in years and it feels good to finally write a little bit in my blog about the "everythingness"(my new word) in my life. It is OFFICIAL I only have 6 weeks left of this thing we like to call school and then I will be walking down a row to grab my diploma and sigh a deep sigh of relief that I was able to get an education. I am super excited 1) that I get to graduate and celebrate with my amazing boyfriend Lloyd who will also be graduating.  2) that my grandpa will be able to see me graduate for the second time and 3) that I get to broaden my horizons alittle and explore the world that the Amazing Lord has created for us. 

TRAVELING......

I need to escape out from the boundaries of New Mexico and Colorado and just feel what else is out there.  I'm hoping my volleyball can take me one step further than a college degree and experience and into the realm of PRO volleyball.  Nervous... yes... Scared... yes... Excited... yes... Ready... NO! There is definitely an unknown of who where when why what and how soooo me being the planner that I am is certainly freaking out.. My Dream: that south africa calls tells me they want to pay me to go pay for them in their amazing volleyball league(not sure if they even have that opportunity) and go play there.. Plan B... anyone who will take me!! So if professional volleyball teams are reading this... choose me!


Well here's my little excerpt for the day! i'll be enjoying my day of sunshine and battling senioritis in the mean time! But I love what God has done for me in my life and the opportunities he keeps blessing me with.  Thank you...

 

SPRING BREAK!!!

Usually the ideals of spring break involve a nice bathing suit, sitting by the pool, and soaking in way to many rays of sun that is probably not healthy for a person, but my Spring Break includes the simplicity of going home and relaxing in freezing colorado!  But I am overjoyed by this fact because I have not seen my family since January and the stress of school, coaching, volleyball, and life are just  getting to the overwhelming part and a break is certainly in need!

I can't wait to see you family!
